Run the Rings - Classic » Devlog
Lots of progress today! I spent a lot of time on the art assets and making the map layer look passable. I also added some QoL UI to the cards, like mouseover effects and the mini cards for the table top. I even started on the basic enemy card AI, but some work is still needed there before it's really "playing" the game.
Major accomplishments:
- Remade art assets
- Card UX
- Smarter enemy pathing on the map
- Enemy card playing
To-dos:
- A* pathing on the map
- Enemies playing actions
- Dealing/receiving damage
- Transition back from card combat to the map
- Discarding cards from hand/table
