v1.2 Build - Minion Abilities and More!


We've been hard at work on major new features! The most frequently requested feature was passive minion abilities to give them more personality, and we've made a first pass at it. I won't spoil them here, but please check out in the game and you can read them in the mouseover descriptions of the cards (tier 1 common minions like Goblin & Imp don't have abilities). We've also added power-ups (healing and speed boost potions), to give you more interesting strategies to think through when planning your route.

Of course, all these extra powers have to be balanced somehow, so we've given defenders the ability to upgrade into stronger versions at each wave, and added two new stronger tiers for each of them. They will intelligently upgrade the towers that were most effective in the last wave, so I suggest varying your approach each wave to keep them guessing!

Also included were performance improvements (we've knocked out the late-game stuttering some people experienced), and some visual fun like particle systems and effect animations.

Stay tuned for even more updates, as we still have a massive list of features we'd like to add. We'll also be posting a roadmap of the near-term features we have planned!
