Day 4




Lots of progress today! I spent a lot of time on the art assets and making the map layer look passable. I also added some QoL UI to the cards, like mouseover effects and the mini cards for the table top. I even started on the basic enemy card AI, but some work is still needed there before it's really "playing" the game.

Major accomplishments:

  • Remade art assets
  • Card UX
  • Smarter enemy pathing on the map
  • Enemy card playing

To-dos:

  • A* pathing on the map
  • Enemies playing actions
  • Dealing/receiving damage
  • Transition back from card combat to the map
  • Discarding cards from hand/table
